I know that a lot of "wish-list" games people are wishing for will never happen because they were originally on other consoles... However I believe it may be merited to make a list of all the games on the wish-list that were primarily on consoles, but also ported to PC (and thus suitable for GOG.com)
The two main examples I can think of are
Grandia 2 (orignally on dreamcast... ported to PC as a 'classics' game)
and
Final Fantasy 8 (Orignally on PS, ported to PC with manual cd and improved functionality.)
both of which were released on PC and could be put together into an installer (if there is no DRM, all you need is the data installed on the HDD rather then disk swapping)
I know it also takes deals and all this to get the games. However it must be annoying for people to sit there watching console games in the wish-list that will never come.
There are a lot of nonsensical wishes in that list. Like Windows 3.1 and Daikatana. I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the top ten wished for are nigh on impossible wishes, for various reasons.
I don't know if GOG intend to focus it in future, so that more likely titles can be voted for. Or if it's going to be left as an unfocused free for all. But either way, there's not much point in paying it too much attention as it stands.

Whats non-sensical about Daikatana??

Because it would require them to pay us to play it? :P

LOL Oh, nothing. I'm just not so struck on FPS games where you're expected to keep other people alive for the duration. People who get stuck, have the path finding of a lobotomised lab rats, get killed by doors, shoot you and get in your line of fire more often than they manage to stay out of it.

My main issue is that some games that may appear "nonsensical" as you put it, are actually not... however they are being made out to look nonsensical due to all the other more impossible wishes.

And "A Solid Gold Fiddle That Plays Like A Dream"
On another note, wonder how someone could miss Planescape: Torment and felt they had to add "Planetscape: Torment", and "Planescape: Tournament"... I mean, it's not as if the correct title is going away from the most-voted list anytime soon with over 6500 votes (only System Shock 2 has more votes - about a thousand more).

Yeah, this confuses me...If they love the game so much to put it in their wishlist, shouldn't they at least know the correct title? PS:T isn't an obscure game, either...
