If the games that are on the wishlist are already released on GOG how come they are still on the wishlist? I thought they would be removed once they are released. Just wondering.
Also, could we PLEASE have the wishlist changed, so that you can sort the list by name, when the game was added, number of votes, etc. And get rid of the "Top 10", it's skewing the results completely. Those games are getting a lot more votes, purely because they are on display at all times, and there is no easy way to find the ones immediately below them.
As is it now, the wishlist is pretty pointless.
I've also noticed that the wishlist unfortunately seems to be attracting spam as I'm pretty sure there has never been a game with the title "YOUR MOM".

You can always type in the name of the game you are looking for, if that helps.
We'll look at the wishlist again in the new year :)
Other things were just more important eg. gifting games and free games.
We're a small team :) and everything is worked on in priority and in the process the wishlist has been left be.
I thought I should share with you our initial concept, which was that you would search for the games that you remembered, which meant that you would vote for the games that you really wanted, rather than going through a list of 1000s of games and by each name deciding yes/no if you liked them or wished them.
It then gives the votes a lot more credibility.
Hope that helps in some way :))

I found one called "Cocks And Dongs 2: The Masterful Willy". Somehow, I just don't believe that is an actual game.

I personally don't have any problems with the wishlist as it stands. I was merely curious as to what the procedure was for games that made it onto GOG.com. Thanks for the answer :-).

And that part of it is fine. The thing is, people don't necessarily remember every game they've played over the years, so some way of browsing them other than searching for the title itself is needed. Also, since new entries to the list aren't screened in any way, there are, as has been mentioned, lots of non-existing games. Also, several games have multiple entries, either because some people can't spell, or remember the title wrongly, or puts the name of the installment in a series before the series name, or whatever.
The thought behind the wishlist is a great one, but the current implementation is working against it, not for it. I'm looking forward to the new wishlist some time after new year's :-)
I think a good idea would be to moderate the list and redirect similar names. It wouldn't take much work after some work is done to remove the duplicates. For example, "X-COM: UFO Defense" should perhaps redirect to "UFO: Enemy Unknown", "Doom 2" should redirect to "Doom II" and so on, like Wikipedia does. But you probably already had that idea before.
Obviously some people go out of their ways to create duplicates since most of them are equally well voted.
Still I like that tool a lot. It's a another good feedback channel, lots of sites should have something like that.
Darkstar One is still on the wishlist.. ;_;

So are Broken Sword 2 and 3, Robinson's Requiem/Deus, Arx Fatalis etc :P. Shogo:MAD too, which actually was voted only few days ago.
I think it would be really helpful for people clicking on the game vote button actually sending them to the gamecard (or dealing with it otherwise) so they could see the game is already available on GOG.com.

I wouldn't know how Difficult is but they could put another list under the Top ten, that is randomly Generated and changes every few Hours

I can vaguely remember seeing a topic which had the Top 30 games on the wishlist posted? I can't find it though. I'm pretty sure a forum user compiled it too. Any ideas?

It exists but I'm too lazy to find it. :D

Thanks to the wonders of Google, here it is. :)
