Neat! I was always curious what the next closest games would be but the list is so long.. Must have taken a long time.
Interesting that KOTOR is 29. I know its popular but I wasnt aware people had such an affinity for it compared to older classics (i.e syndicate).

KotOR's position on the list probably is somewhat due to the recent announcement of "Star Wars: The Old Republic", a new MMO set in the same time period as the KotOR games. That and its just a damn good game.
The one I'm surprised about is Aliens vs Predator, I would never have expected that one to be so high on the list.

It would be cool if they took the top rated of each genre (FPS, RTS, RPG, etc) .. or at least what's available, so every time they add some new games, there's something there for everybody to play.
but looking at that list, I'd love to try Dungeonkeeper.
I wish Blood 2+Nightmare expansion was on it, we could use some more shooters to play.

It seems by the disparity in votes between no. 10 (around 900 votes) and no. 11 (around 550 votes) shows that most folks just vote on the games that are on the posted top 10 list. I believe many good games that would be highly rated are getting lost in the ~100 pages of games that posters don't want to spend time flipping through to vote!

Ohhh AvP. I would LOVE to see AvP2 on Gog.com. Best LAN game there is.

I love AVP2. I played online with friends but sadly they shut down the servers for that game and many others, so you might want to know this when you consider buying a game and want to play online multiplayer. I can't play AvP2 anymore =(
