is there any chance that the Wing Commander series becoming available on GoG?
Those games are my favs and sadly no one makes any space sims nowadays :(

No one knows for sure and GOG won't tell. They only make publisher and new game announcements once they are ready to release. At best they will drop an occasional obscure hint at what publisher or game they might be adding soon, but only as a direct lead up to the actual release.

I love Wing Commander but even more I loved Freelancer. I wish we could grab that little gem here on GoG.

i am playing x3 terran conflict these days, and its not like wing commander, its more like elite (do what you want in space) with a massive chunk of economic simulation, building an empire, managing stuff and everything

if you want to go for something that is more like elite try evochron

i really hope the wing commander games will be avialable on gog, i think i never played 2, but i loved 1+3+4

Also they should add Starlancer, it's almost as good.

They should also add FreeSpace, which is in my opinion even better than... OH WAIT !

WC would still be good. I played several times WC1 and WC2 (not the expansion - too hard) in Ironman, and sometimes succeeded.

I think I've learned my lesson after seeing your glorious collection. That comes close, but doesn't trump the fond memories I have of playing the series (Crusader games too)...
