I'm getting a new processor for my computer. I finally have enough money, and the one I'm looking at looks pretty badass. Geek Squad will put it in for me when I get it in.
The two questions I have are:
1. If I have an EVGA NFORCE 680I SLI MB REV D MOTHERBOARD and my current processor is a D- CORE 2 DUO 2.00 GHZ E4400 2M CACHE 800 PROCESSOR, will this processor work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036
2. Is it a good upgrade? As in, do you think with my very powerful video card I would be able to run the latest games at top quality? I have an NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800 GT with 512 MB.
