monitors with ultrathin bezels have been made since that video was shot and apparently some are planning to make monitors without bezels using gorilla glass.

Thanks everybody for help so far, I just wanted to ask which one of these cases are best?

Also, still didnt found the RAM and I will probably pick Samsung SyncMaster BX2440.
I would use your RAM Aliasalpha but problem is that G.Skill is nowhere to found in all electronic stores around me.

I guess you're right... I've never tried SLI myself, to be honest. Hopefully my faithful 285 will be enough for S3D gaming ;P.

The last one seems to have pretty cool ventilation (no pun intended).

How about "Patriot PV236G1333LLKB" ?

Patriot, Corsair or GeIL are all good alternatives, frankly the only reason I piked the g.skill was that it was 5 bucks cheaper than the corsair of the same speed and there was no GeIL triple channel kits in stock at the time
As for the case, the Antec 1200 looks pretty fancy, a few models up from mine (I bought mine specifically because of the fact it didn't have a side window, I hate them passionately)
The coolermaster looks nice, the open side is at least useful for something other than annoyingly blinding lights
The thermaltake is one I'd never get myself simply because I hate having my optical drive hidden which that one seems to do.
In the end, it's a box to hold your stuff so it really doesn't matter as long as your stuff will fit in. Based on the prices I'd probably go for the coolermaster

And if I wouldnt mind pay few extra buck on case which would you recommend?
I'd probably still go with the coolermaster. The antec doesn't do anything different and costs $20 more and the thermaltake is 40 bucks more and whilst it seems to have a fancy top storage hatch and come with a 5.25 storage drawer, those aren't worth that much money (and you can use the thermaltake drawer in other cases, I've got one in mine)
Aliasalpha I checked your build again and I need to ask are you absolutely happy if your PSU? Because it looks nice and more price available than that one I was planning to buy.
Also if I will buy same motherboard as you I dont need extra sound card, right?

I'm 100% happy with mine, I bought it for the modular feature but that sort of ended up being a non-event, because the video card takes up so much of the space my cable routing was pretty messy anyway
I always go for a sound card just so it reduces the work on the CPU and gives somewhat better sound quality but the upside of not getting one is that if you find the onboard sound lacking, you can just add one whenever you want
Only shame I cant find your monitor, after I will find some I can finally go to store and bought this sweet PC, only last check is this computer compatible with all components?

EVGA X58 SLI LE - Intel X58
is it better than this Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R - Intel X58 ?
I think you may be in danger of overthinking things a bit here. Does the mobo you chose (the UD3R) have everything you need/want? If so, then stick with it.
I know it's tempting to 'future proof' when building a rig (if that's what you're trying to do), but that's a fool's game. By the time the feature you're trying to future proof against becomes necessary/mainstream, there are other technologies that you don't have that are coming into play.

Detlik: One friend of mine keeps telling me that this monitor has TF technology (from certain angle you will see nothing but black) and it isnt worth it. Is it a good monitor or do you know better for similiar price?
avatar
wodmarach: ALL LCDs are TFT :P what your friend probably means is TN in most cases unless your an artist or want accurate colour display etc you wont notice the difference that makes IPS worthwhile to proffesionals, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TFT_LCD for more information tbh most IPS fans are only fans cause apple uses them (joke)

I game on a high end IPS panel, they look so much better it's not even close. The new Apple Cinema Displays are glossy instead of matte, that's what makes them so terrible. Similar sized Dell IPS monitors sell for nearly the same price.
Before you drop an extra 150 to 200 to jump from an i5 to an i7, ask yourself this... Do you need hyperthreading?
Is this strictly a gaming rig, or is it gonna be tasked with heavy Photoshop and video editing tasks?
Gaming rig only... i5 Hyperthreading just isn't an important feature for games.
Then just to be sure... benchmark it...
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/2
And when you look at the results, remember that if chip A (at $300) gets 200 fps and chip B (at $175) gets 197 FPS (I made all those numbers up... obviously, to illustrate a point) and a movie is 24 FPS and video in 30 fps and Crysis looks awesome at 60 fps then chip B is better than chip A from a cost/benefit perspective. Save some money that can buy more ram or some games or a bag of weed or dinner for you and hot gamer chick (or guy, depending on whatever)
...and fps isn't really that big of deal, unless you just wanna shell out cash for bragging rights.
No industry is more full of hype and myths than PC hardware. When someone is raving about specs and stats they are usually raving about attributes they can measure but not see. Don't get too wrapped up in having the latest and greatest.
Besides, the obsolescence path ain't what it used to be. Your next machine will surely be an effective machine for longer than your last one.

Disregard females, acquire PC hardware !
