It sounds like very cool game, but its not available through any means I can use =(
I second this one, awesome and hard game!
Aye. A fine mix of economic strategy and choose your own adventure.
Sounds pretty good.

Though a DOSBox port of Archimedean Dynasty would have be my #1 wanted game to come to GOG.
It's coming out on June 17 2012 here.

I might have just made that date up
Vote for it on the wishlist,or add it there yourself, its what its there for

don't know if its a good port.
You can still get the PC/Mac version for $20 from their website.

The original Windows/Mac version has long since sold out. If you can’t find a used copy we can burn a copy of the CD. The cost is $19.95 (check or PayPal) plus shipping. Please note that we aren’t a retail operation and can’t promise to ship promptly (it may take a day or two). Contact us (customer-support) if you’re interested.
Yeah, I sent them an email once to ask if they would sell their game on digital portals like Steam/GoG etc because I think a great game like this could do well with some exposure probably.

Sadly they had no plans for that back then except the Itunes port above :/

Aaand I happen to lack iOS devices ^^;
The game cannot be made available for download (we tried in 2006 but ran into technical snags).
"Technical" as in "just technical" or "System Shock" technical? Because you can run the game off an ISO under WinXP just fine.

Check my previous post, you can still buy the PC version.
I heard they had some problems making a feasible port out of it for some reason. I think the iOS version was built from ground up as well, so digital distribution might not be an option. I might be completely wrong on this, though.

It is an amazing game, though, so I would definitely like to see it on GoG.
It's an incredible game, but it has several bugs, that probably would cause a lot of problems for them if they have to fix them all.
Perhaps they could make a port of the iphone version, that seems to be bug clean, but sadly, I think that KODP is going to suffer the same fate as FInal Fantasy VII, too much work to make a workable copy...
I hope I'm wrong, by the way.

That's probably the problem. Game installs almost nothing on your hard drive and it was never designed to (there is a workaround but it's convulated and basically requires dedicating an entire HD drive for the game). How would they get it to run without requiring Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or similar?
