Forgive me if this has been discussed already, I just want to know myself. I already have both Baldur's Gates, but when the Enhanced Edition arrives will GOG, for a lack of a better term, update the Baldur's Gates I have already?

Seriously doubt it. Beamdog will probably try to have as much control over it as possible. In any case, it will be sold as a new game, not as a update.
BG:EE is a Beamdog exclusive from what I understand. I highly doubt this will happen.

I thought Beamdog was Steam-esque...

They have an client and "optional" DRM services.
Bah! Who needs Baldur's Gate: FANCY PANTS EDITION. Gimme Wasteland GOG.
Last I heard they were looking into using other retailers beyond just Beamdog as well though for BG:EE but no idea what that means, or who they're looking at. But pretty sure it was in response to complaints about it possibly being beamdog only.

This.

Also, Project Eternity will be joining its ancestors here once it's released :)

I think it needs an online activation. One time only. You don't use their client for this one.

From what I understand this is correct. Although you have to activate every time you install the game. And someone said if you update your hardware you will have to reactivate as well. I'm not sure how accurate that last is however, as I've not seen anything posted by Beamdog about it. And to be frank, I lost interest when they announced a DRM/activation for the game, so I haven't checked their forums or updates for a while.
Cloak of Drizzt D'Orden DLC - 2.99$
Sword of Balduran DLC - 9.99$
Bra of Viconia DLC - 17.50$
Imoen Romance DLC - 19.99$

Also, what do you people think of the new companions they are adding?

Puhhahahhaa :)
+1 for this one.
That would be great but I think Beamdog wants this one to itself.
