I have see that the game have been launched in steam and GamersGate, and this last if offering not only steam key, but also DRM free download.

Looks really nice, but, according to GG while it is DRM free it also requires a Steam account to be activated. Now what that means I don't know for sure; it might be just a one time activation thing or you might need Steam running to play it ie: most of their games.

If that isn't the case she is a beautiful looking title and reasonably priced. If we had it here, as soon as I got a slightly better OS I'd be all over it.
I'm a sucker for shitty games but do we really need Eurofighter Typhoon on GOG? I don't know... :D

"Can be activated on Steam" - not required.

AH HA!
I stand corrected. Thank you amok and my apologies to DalekSec.

no worries, must take in account that you foreigners may not have a grasp of the English language :)

I'd love to see Novalogic's games on gog, and in particular their flight sims. In fact I'll somehow take 2 weeks off if that happens...

I'd take offense at that if I could read it. Too many big words!
Haha, I remember this game. Got it on a CD with a gaming magazine. Couldn't really play it because I didn't have a joystick :D

Yes, these games are excelent mid-tier flight sims. (well, Comanche MO, Comanche 2, & Werewolf are easy-tier/arcade, but fun).
Good, detailed flight sim. The color palette was a bit drab but maybe there is a mod to brighten things up a bit.

I remember the original release being pretty easy to beat. A bit later a patch / update was released that upped the difficulty quite a bit. Kinda hoping the title eventually found a middle ground on difficulty.

Landing was always a bitch for me. I'd give it a glide slope that felt like a feather tickling the concrete and I'd still crash it somehow.

I'm not familiar with Eurofighter Typhoon but if you want a challenging sim for this aircraft, have you tried the older EF2000? Now that was a real sim! Maybe I was just too obtuse but it took me quite a while to get the hang of things with that one, even though it came with an impressively thick manual. My brother bought the game, I generally gravitate towards stuff with less realism and more fun campaigns like Strike Commander etc but as a serious sim EF2000 is very good, has great music too.

Ya know, I am absolutely confusing my titles. EF2000 is what I was thinking about.
Hmm, still have a CD somewhere.

I got a chance to try out a Eurofighter military training simulator a couple years ago with real cockpit and all (supervised by 2 friendly & patient pilots from the German Luftwaffe) and thanks to having played EF2000, I didn't make a complete ass of myself. But I must admit, a simulator with full blown cockpit is totally different than playing a PC game, and I think I'd be positively lost if I had to fly the real thing. At least I know how to eject so I'd survive but the poor plane would probably not...
