Crosmando: So owns the old Civilization games? Atari or 2K?
Steam lists 2K as publisher for Civ 3 and Civ 4, so I'd say 2K.

Fair enough, what are your bets on the rest of the MicroProse backlog? I think I heard on these boards 2K might have purchased a bunch of those too.

No idea actually. And the Microprose games I'd like to see here the most are the X-Coms and MtG: Shandalar, though I guess that would also be a pain to bring over.

Ever played a game called BloodNet? Pretty cool hybrid of point-and-click adventure and cRPG, one of my favorites, and a MicroProse classic.

I think I recall some screenshots of it, but haven't had the chance to play it. Thus why I didn't include it in the list of what I'm waiting for, even though there are obviously quite a few more games that should be welcomed here.

iuliand: I suspect GOG is not interested in them because are already present on other dd sites for a long time thus they are not expected to sell well. I for one would insta-buy it here on GOG.

I suspect the same logic is valid for Titan Quest too.
Considering GOG even added the Introversion games a while back I doubt this theory to be honest. Same for a lot of other indie's that came here late.

I'm sure their politics regarding indies is different because they want to catch up with the indie trend.
I think i remember that The Enigmatic T assured that the X-com series is on high in demand and that GOG.com is working hard to get it.

McDon: They're DRM-free on Gamersgate? That'll probably sort me out for a while....

That's all five original titles. It was on sale a week or two ago for less than $4. Snapped it up and gifted a couple more sets out.
The real reason why it's not here?

2K Games can't charge regional prices at GOG. They can everywhere else, but not here.

Indeed, this could be a reason... didn't thought about it.
I was wondering the same. Here are the wishlist entries for anyone interested:

One man's regional pricing is another man's access to awesome games.

Well, I know various people are upset or uncomfortable about the change, but I must admit having Take 2 come aboard would be really sweet.
