It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Barefoot_Monkey: A while ago I made a greasemonkey script to add a logout button when you're in the forums. If you're using Firefox then grab it here. Of course that won't help you on mobile.

Another thing you could do is add a bookmark to http://www.gog.com/myaccount/logout/ - visiting that page will log you out instantly.

Barefoot_Monkey: OK, timppu, I have no idea why GOG was designed without a logout button - aesthetic reasons probably come into it. I do know that the "Logout now" button takes so long to appear on the account page because of the way that GOG's design is implemented using very intricate background image tricks. I understand your problem and really think that bookmarking http://www.gog.com/myaccount/logout is your best bet, assuming your phone supports bookmarks.

For Firefox users I have a new present :-) It adds a dropdown menu with links directly to your shelf, game list, messages, wishlist and logout. If anyone wants this translated Opera or Chrome it shouldn't be much of a problem.
Wow, those are both brilliant. Thanks much. :)

I'd love a Chrome version if it's not too much trouble!

Awesome. Thank you.
GOG, why isn't BFM working for you yet??

bazilisek: This has been mentioned before. In fact, it's clear the entire My Account section absolutely needs an overhaul; it did not scale with the site's growth at all.

GOG is still looking for web developers, apparently; they need them pretty badly, if you ask me.
That or they hope that high speed internet is growing faster than their catalogue.

GOG web performance is insanely bad. The always load everything, the cateloque, the months of the year, the years, all the graphics, all your games... awesome.

Although when they buy download bandwith it obviously doesn't matter to buy one terabyte more.
Speaking of the account page, the games listed under the gifted tab of my games, are those gifts received or gifts given? Because it doesn't really fit either of those options for me.

Yay, mine is there! :-)

Thanks again, Monkey! :-D

Given. There is, as of yet, no way to see which games were gifted to you (unless you keep a list yourself).

If you click the triangle marker (to the left of the date), you can see who redeemed the gift (if it was redeemed after the site went non-beta around Sept 20, 2011 - before that it won't tell a name, but will just say "redeemed") - if it hasn't been redeemed, it'll instead say "sent" and the e-mail address it was sent to.

Okay then, seems like I have a gift available that I didn't know about. So, if anyone wants Realms of Arkania 1 + 2:

Redeemed

I must say, I am really disappointed by the speed of which GOG does improve their site. There is so much functionality missing which is not too difficult to incorporate. Friendship-lists, personal wish-lists, better shelf sorting options, ... nothing which requires another Einstein to be present.

No, but perhaps another monkey. Codemonkey. From my observations South African ones seem like good choices for such tasks, Swedish ones have trouble finishing projects they've started and much more readily move on to other ideas.

Forum PMs took them what, two and a half years? Yeah, this definitely is one of the most disappointing aspects of GOG.
