That came out around the same time that Arcanum did.
U know - M$...
Ah, yeah....Microsoft game.

The only other old games that I see still being sold for release price are Blizzard titles.
I picked up Dungeon Siege for €6 on the Xplosive re-release label so cheap copies are out there. It's more likely the retailer has had those copies since release and hasn't ever discounted them. Some retailers that don't have a sale or return policy with distributors do this. A local toy store near me still has Vampire: Bloodlines for €29.99 and Crysis for €34.99. They just sit there gathering dust and then retailers complain there is no demand for PC games. *sigh*

Steam is where I saw it. Starting to wonder if it's on any other digi sites.
Just really weird because I remember even Best Buy had it clearenced for $5 at one point back ten years ago.

Could say the price is so high because of collector's value.....but it's a digi site selling it.

Original and Expansion for £3.56
I think it might be to encourage people to buy DS3.
Where are you shopping from? You can get the original DS + Legends of Aranna pack for $12 USD
It's $50 on Steam because it's not being sold on its own--it and Dungeon Siege 2 are bonuses for pre-ordering Dungeon Siege 3.

Ah, that makes much more sense. Amazon won't sell to me either.

But at least now I now it's around the ten or less price range.

I've got around 4 versions of the first Dungeon Siege in my drawers right now. I got most of them for less than a beer. You can get it real cheap if you go retail. As for downloads... different dimension it seems. Nothing new really.

But it is not anymore. Microsoft owned the license up to Dungeon Siege 2.

Dungeon Siege 2 Broken World was published by 2K Games, and now for Dungeon Siege 3, Square Enix are the owners. They also bought the rights for the other DS games.

Yea, and also, you don't get multiplayer modes for DS and DS2.
