xa_chan: Among the major improvements GoG could have, to my opinion, would be a "proper" forum and not this message board.
Oh i hope not. One of the reasons i like hanging out at gog is that they have a nice forum, not the clone ones you find at every other site. If this was one of those it'd just lose it's charm.
One thing i think GOG as a Beta is lacking is better ways for us to send feedback on games and problems. Eg:
1 - The game installer should include links to the support pages and forums for the game, or even pull up the latest support news (when internet is available).
2 - the installer should include the ability for us to submit our system specs and feedback, so GOG can build a better picture of which systems games work with and don't work with.
(for example, 2 of the 3 games i've played off GOG have had common graphics/speed issues... so there is obviously something up with this particular spec of CPU/graphics card. If GOG could collect (voluntarily of course) info about problem configs, they could maybe target those problems).
Right now the beta seems to be entirely on the GOG side, and as users we aren't really helping much at all.
