One of my favourite games of all time and alot of TR fans have been after a remake for so many years now, I am wondering why nobody has decided to crowdfund this? It would surely be successful in terms of popularity, right?

Is that the one, where Lara guns down dozens of people with firearms, while the camera points at a wall behind her back?

Why should it be crowdfunded? is not better to ask Squenix about a HD remake (I gather that this is what you want)

The Tomb Raider IP is property of Square Enix.

If Square Enix wants to remake this game, they won't need crowdfunding.

If people outside of Square Enix start a crowdfunding campaign for a TR2 remake, they'd be very naive and spend their time with an exercise in futility, because no matter how much money they collect, they won't get a permission from Square Enix to use the Tomb Raider license.

That said, personally I would like such a remake. The combination of old-school puzzles and modern presentation made TR: Anniversary my favorite game of the series, remakes of the other classic games would e very welcome.

No, that's Silent Hill 2.

I think they should remake Call of Duty or perhaps even Battlefield 2 through crowdfunding.
Or perhaps even Deus Ex if the public is ready for a remake of that.

SH2 has fixed camera, while in old Tomb Raider games the camera is rotating in most locations, but usually too late.
I would back Diablo 1 HD indiegogo campaign.

In a heartbeat but only, and I mean ONLY, if they tweek the HD. The second someone says "And we're also gonna change..." I'm outta there.
