I never saw this before and it is quite funny. It helps that I never understood the whole "OMG DISCS!" thing, they're pretty damn convenient if you ask me.

Not sure about the Steam forums but you'd be instantly permabanned from GAF. They handle stuff like this thread very nicely.

Yeah it's funny how after the jtag demo leaked for DNF everyone who even mentioned it or replied in threads mentioning it on GBX forums was banned, and this then went on to duke4.net forums as mods there started erasing any comments posting ANY leaked videos of gameplay on youtube/etc.....all because(srsly) the one admin there(Yatta) is getting free sneak peaks from Randy Pitchford and limo rides to a few of the PR events.

But he claims it's all ok and just to not spoil the game or harm our "friend" GBX's relations with his forum. Riiiight.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you are a very, very sad man indeed. GAF sounds like the arsehole of the internets where everyone is forced to be nice to one another. I suspect one of the admins is called the Kandyman.

Sometimes it's fun to poke fun at the obvious...also when everything else is too taboo to joke about, what's left to joke about?
