I think many people misunderstood how the new Killer instinct game will work

Everyone can download and play it for free, the catch here is that you have only one character available, if you want to play other characters, you have to pay for them

So essentially the base game is a functioning free game, just very heavily stripped down

It's sort of like playing WoW but you are confined only to one specific Race, Class, Spec and appearance

Well thats not really the worst free to play system I have seen, and in a way it eliminates "SUPER, ULTRA" editions.

I remember the day GOG was all about RPGs because they had more popular RPGs than anyother genre, infact the top 5 dedicated game forums are just RPGs: Baldur's Gate, Witcher, Fallout, Might and Magic, and Neverwinter Nights.


Also I miss the days when on the home page that Baldur's Gate 2 was the 1# selling game on the site. The game really attracted alot of young people who grew up wth KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.
