Anyone else notice that in the last 12-16 hours, like a dozen threads that have not had a post in a year are more are being rezzed?

It seems odd that if you had a thought about something that no one else has posted on in a year, first off kudos for taking the time to check before making a duplicate post, but really a year old?

I won't touch the guy rezzing all of the giveaway threads asking for a free game from someone that posted a thread 16 months ago...

Master of Magic is PERFECT for necromancers :D

Also, I think Heroes of Might & Magic II or III lets you play as a necromancer that can eventually raise the dead as Power Liches :D

I don't understand why it is a big deal to re-open a year old thread. If it is about a topic that is alive (obviously not the discussion about what is going to be the latest update of Windows 2000), it is better imo. There are already posts other can react to and it doesn't create 100th thread about same thing.

I have a different one saved as a "favorite topic" that I'm going to resurrect when I'm on my deathbed.

Edit: there's some irony in bafflement about thread resurrection on a website partially dedicated to resurrecting dead and lost games.
