What kinds of issues? I may be able to help if you give more details.
By the way, is the game (Fort Zombie) any good?

I haven't played it much yet (blame Torchlight :-D), but the premise is solid, and Kerberos usually delivers. From the little I've played, they really nailed the post-apocalyptic feeling of dread and loneliness (and always present danger). It was a good first impression, but I'll let you know more as I play more. :-)

Please do. I saw the fanmade trailer and WASN'T in the least bit impressed.

In case you haven't seen the official release trailer (much better than the fanmade one, IMO), here's the link:

When I saw the primitive graphics I was expecting a full on hoard of Zombies to appear but that never happened. I have to say I was not impressed. I'm no graphics whore but that looks really basic by today's standards and I have seen much better from indie studios. Also the animation and the control system doesn't look up to scratch either.
It's a 10 dollar game. You can't expect top notch graphics or animations. Well, maybe you could, in expense of the actual gameplay - but Kerberos went the other way around: gameplay before graphics.
And as far as gameplay goes, it's not zombie shooter #42. It's more of a "zombie apocalypse simulator" with a final showdown. Do you know the "Last Stand" flash game? Think something like that, with you directly playing the "look for survivors/weapons/supplies" missions, and less actual shooting (or, better describing it, shooting as little as possible most of the time). Its focus is on survival, rather than shooting.

It's alright. Currently having some rather severe technical problems though, so I'd wait for a patch. Quite a few owners seem to be getting absolutely terrible performance even on good systems (and be warned, the system requirements are steeper than you'd think). There's a few other glitches too, like the aiming being a little screwy (it's impossible to shoot zombies on the ground, or if they get fairly close), (unskippable and very long)reload animations playing twice sometimes etc.
It's got a lot of potential though. Once they iron out the kinks, I think it'll be an excellent and truly distinctive apocalypse sim. And for those comparing it with Nation Red, no. It's an entirely different game. They both feature zombies and that's about it for similarities.

Sounds good
If it did what Mount and Blade did to RPGs, then i'll try it....
Will it run on 1GB Ram and 256VRAM? (76600Gt?)

Thanks for the answers. I'll probably wait till I finish Torchlight to get this one.
I guess there's no demo planned for this then?
It looked good so I googled a demo, and no, there's no demo....

This was why prior to the trailers, I was eagerly anticipating the game. Having mixed feelings even after watching that official trailer - but which was WAY better than the fanmade one. Will check the demo out (when it's out) before making decisions.
Seeing it on Impulse store has prompted me to bump this thread again. Anyone has more impressions to share?
