Not in (Monkeys), but Worms 2 has the best single player on the series. If I recall correctly, the campaign had 45 levels, and the last two were really tough to beat (your team had 3 worms and the computer's team had like 8, plus the first turn was theirs). Worms Armageddon is the best of the series multiplayer-wise, but unfortunately it's still not on GOG yet.

I've somehow decided to put Worms 2 on my wishlist (don't remember how), but really I'm waiting on Armageddon. Unless I get an urge for worms... that sounded wrong... look, it's a pack of three-headed monkeys!!

I got W2 and I'm enjoying it but I'm having some trouble with the SP stuff. I put a query in the Worms forum so I'll await answers there. As for purchasing, it's definitely worth the sale price tag.

Worms United, the original one. Because there is some Shoryuken in it. No need other reasons to play it.

Get W2 since you never got to play it. Afair it had a fairly good SP (deathmatc and a decent campaign) which W1 doesn't have so it ought to keep you busy for longer. I would recommend W1 for all those who never got to play it and keep saying how W:A was the best. While this is probably true, it's still nice to see the game roots and it actually plays somewhat different.

Not really a fan of platformers, still, I only played Worms 1 (Demo) so I suggest Worms 2.
