I think everyone's overlooking the possibility of something else from Team 17 - Worms 2 or something, NB I'm not saying that i WANT that to happen!

Asbeau: I have absolutely no idea, so I'm just going to project some wishful thinking and say Anachronox. Hope it isn't Lara, or if it is TR I hope there's something else released alongside it.
OmegaX: The first TR has aged horribly IMO but I doubt we'll get the Anniversary version. Sure TR1 has horrible controls, but I've always wanted to try it.

I'm worried about this too. Not so much with the music, it's very rare to have music removed from a game due to licensing however there is precedent (Crazy Taxi). However, his likeness definitely is in the game (on a couple of characters, I think) and that could complicate things greatly.

ObsCure was the game. I think it was only one music track and I still wonder why they couldn't ask the publisher for permission to remove it. Luckily, I bought it before then but there must be some people that didn't have the chance.

Beside the removed Obscure also the first two Realms of Arkania games were downgraded to the floppy versions because of the licensed music. There is still a soundtrack as bonus, but it's not complete (labeled as 9 RA2 tracks). So, to get Omikron will be hard task for GOG.

Never played them, I read only the subforum. From what I understand they are very hardcore rpgs, so it's maybe better to play them in order and then import your characters. Btw, only the second game is the floppy version, the first one is still the cd release.

Now this is a point for me to enter the conversation.
Well, Among the die hard fan community of RoA players, there is now "best part". Many prefer part one, as it is as unlinear as it can get. And because you have a huge area to explore.
Some prefer RoA 2 because of it's refined gameplay tweaks and still being able to travel through a small, yet more detailed area. It is also (imo) the hardest, as I can find 5 "points of no return" that make the progress impossible. Not due to bugs or necessarily bad programming, but RoA isn't one of those games where you should push every button or can get every answer in a dialogue.
And RoA 3 is the most beautiful, gameplay tweaked one of the three with a simply gorgeus soundtrack. It also has (imo) the greatest atmosphre and story.
This triology will forever be my "favourite games of all times" whatever may come.
And I wouldn't call the "hardcore". They were pretty standard at their time and once you got the hang of it, they are actually quite easy. If seen people beat all three games with only one char.
Edit: Oh, I forgot the most important point. You can keep your party through all three games, therefore they should be played in order.
