Seeing as we are getting into the World Cup mood and I can't find this subject anywhere else on the boards so I thought it was about time this was asked.
I support Cambridge United and have done since I was about 13 and started going to local matches. It's not been much fun one promotion three relegations, one cup final loss and two play off final losses in the last 15 years or so but I still love them. Shame i don't live in Cambridge any more.
What about you guys, and be nice.....
I arrived rather late to football, having lived abroad in my youth.
I support Liverpool mostly, because of many family members. I haven't had to too much in the way of bad times, such is the way of the premier league.
Other than that, I look out for Carlisle United, since I lived there for a time. Now there's a team that's had some severe ups and downs.
The last match I watched live though was Newcastle vs Huddersfield in the league cup. Awesome game, exactly what a cup match should be like.
Real Madrid. Also my favourite english team is Liverpool (mostly because of Football Manager)
Liverpool, because my mum and her side of the family are from there. My dad's Spanish and supports Real Madrid but I've never liked them. Now that I know historically that they were an extension of the government, I like them even less.
Also my local team, Hereford United, though the quality of football in League Two is pretty dire.
None. Watching football (soccer) makes me sleepy :P
Not a big fan of any sport, but I have a soft spot for FC Porto.
As far as the World Cup is concerned, I go for both Portugal and Australia.
I'll be bloody conflicted if they ever have to face one another in a final. =P

I think you can sleep easy on that front.
Fulham because I used to live in that area of London. Also used to work in Putney which was a stones throw from Craven Cottage.

See, now I don't know what I should be offended about. ;)
I started watching soccer after the 2006 world cup. Instead of following foreign, european teams, I decided to check out the soccer scene in America. Though I know realize that the MLS isn't exactly the best league in the world, its definitely not as bad as most people think it is. If you want to see a bad league, you should watch the Chinese league.
And to answer the question, I like the Columbus Crew.
My 2 favorites football teams are Lyon (where I come from) and Manchester United. Otherwise and concerning international teams I (usually) support France, The Netherlands and England.
Edit : oh, and I cheer for Newcastle as well, since I've been working there a few months. :)

We...are the champions, my friend.
The most widely supported football club of all, Benfica.

If it's as good as Shaolin soccer, I would watch anytime !
Manchester United and Barcelona. In Norway: Rosenborg.
