Dralel: It's disgusting the game STILL isn't on this site, almost before the Steam summer sale end. Not even a "it's coming today don't worry" from an admin, anything...
I wouldn't say disgusted, but...maybe a bit disappointed? Dunno what the GOG/Larian guys are thinking. They know just what kinds of shitstorms can arrise from something like this...

And they even have a gamecard for Mousecraft, a game I've never heard of (that doesn't have to say much, though :D), coming out on July 6th! Meh.
Next hour passed and still no gamecard...
As it seems Larian doesn't care much about GOG. If you look on the banner on top of their forum then you will find an advertise to buy it on Steam but no word about GOG. Then there is the DLC thing on Steam and as many other GOGers I have also strong opinions about DLCs. The toolkit will integrate with Steamwork so don't get me even started about this decision. All in all (with the cutting issue (companions, AI personalities, dungeon levels) and the hostility in the forum and especially against anyone voicing critics not in an submissive way) I'm somehow upset with Larian.

EDIT: I also forget to mention that languages beside English aren't ready atm and are promised tomorrow, at least French and German, no word about Russian and the backer codes you get as backer from the Larian vault are also not working right now ...

Wait, what does that mean? Can we use the toolkit in the GOG version?

cw8: I have duo copies so I don't have to worry that I can't change the initial steam version to gog even though I've chosen GOG all this while, problem is I can't select GOG on the 2nd copy lol
Yeah, same here. No GOG option for the second copy. It is probably just a bug/oversight, but this and the near-total lack of information is kind of giving me the vibe that neither Larian nor GOG really gives a crap about this game coming to GOG.

Exactly the same problem. I just emailed the Larian support for this. For the second copy I can only select Steam. Sucks!

Uh... I don't know if you noticed but why would anyone give a crap about Divinity when THIS (http://www.gog.com/game/mousecraft) gem is set to release so soon. Get off the Divinity train pal, it's long since derailed.

As far as I know: you should get the toolkit on GOG also, at least I would be VERY upset if not. But people making content on Steam are exclusively on Steam then. Modder using Steamworks must actively upload their content to other sites also to give them people outside of Steam. If I'm wrong then tell me, I'm not sure if I got it absolute correctly.

I found this in the kickstarter comments, I don't know if it works though:
"For those wanting to switch to GOG, use Chrome dev tools, edit the select input, add option value="GOG" and submit. It will switch to GOG."

They will update the Larian Vault to make it actually happen without messing with the site. ^^ But as it isn't released on GOG and without a word when they plan to release it here ... well ... the code alone isn't that useful. :D
And the backer code doesn't work. Just tried on the Steam version.

It might not be useful for you but the GOG key would be very useful for me as it apparently will "destroy" the steam alpha keys.
I gave out those steam alpha keys because Larian stated that those would stop working when the final version comes out. Larian now decided to do things differently. The keys for alpha access now become the keys for the full game.
This means that as soon as the people with my alpha keys log into steam today they will be updated to the full version.
So I'd REALLY like to have my GOG keys now.
NEWS ABOUT THE BACKER CODE (though it's rather a clarification, I guess :D)

In this post

1) Currently, there are issues with non-working kickstarter codes. If your code is currently not working, please keep an eye on this post or on the latest kickstarter update. We are working on the issue and will have a fix very soon (update is uploading now)

2) If you are still having kickstarter code issues by tomorrow, please shoot an email to kickstarter@larian.com with a clear explanation of your issue.

3) If you want to have GOG code, check out this kickstarter post : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin/posts/894881

4) if you gave away your steam code, we are implementing a system on larianvault.com to recall your key and get a new one. Again, keep an eye on this forum post or check out kickstarter : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin/posts/894881

5) if you cant redeem gog code yet, they are working on getting the build up asap
I understand some people want to play ASAP, but try to be a bit patient.

They just updated the game on Steam, at least working for me now.
