What's with all the whining lately? Our "classy community" is really starting to sound like a bunch cry-babies with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement. No one ever guaranteed there would be a weekend sale every weekend, get over it.

The countdown seems to have been a pretty successful marketing move and brought in quite a few new people to GOG. Naturally it'll take a little while before some of the new folks become acclimated to the community, so we all just need to have a bit of patience until then.

Patience, I've got, but some of the stuff I've seen lately makes even my 12 year old son comment on the lack of maturity. I just hope it doesn't take too long for things to settle down some and at the same time we end up with really cool new members.

As a loose rule of thumb GOG doesn't usually do a weekend deal when they make an announcement. No biggie though, there is always next weekend. :)

It seems that we're all spoiled by the unbeatable Steam weekend deals. Soon everyone will demand GOG to give 66-75% off deals on one of their games every weekend.

Here's the weekend special: GOG and Activision have blown our fucking minds. Now we need to crawl around on the ground and pick each piece up. I'll go for whatever piece makes me good at adventure games first, so I can get through Gabriel Knight.
