Last time I read a line from him, he was joking about a lot of snow falling where he lives. Hopefully he is alright. I guess he is playing Sang Froid all day just for the immersion while being snowed in.

Lots of snow, hotel / lodging with guests around the holidays, some livestock to take care of. Given his new forum title is "Snow sux!, my guess is a combination of all of that.
