Yes, agreed. Some people can handle waiting in a line, others shout and demand special treatment. It's indeed a pity, but it won't change if the people doing it don't see the problem.

I only asked for at least a human response. I didnt I want my problem was resolved immediately. But again thanks for resolved now too.

Sorry, but no. You did not "only ask for a human response". You shouted on a public forum (and apparently on Twitter as well), you made it quite clear that you regarded the "two days" waiting time as too long, and you were talking about "shame GOG support".

Look, the thing is, GOG is one of the shops that really values good customer support. You don't _need_ to put on such an aggressive stance, and it's pretty rude toward the people addressing your issue as well as toward other customers who may have to wait longer while you are getting your special treatment. Even if the matter is pressing, asking nicely ("Hey guys, I bought that package and I haven't received it yet; I'd really like to play these game that weekend, is there any way to solve this issue quickly?") would have worked equally well.

And I especially didn't like your "hire more people, it's not my business" remark, because it's so short-sighted. As a shop that values customer service highly, GOG would probably _love_ to hire more support personnel. The problem is that someone has to pay them. Of course, GOG doesn't _have to_ offer excellent prices like the huge discount for the bundle you just bought - they could ask for a bit more money and would then be able to support more staff. But is that really what you want? It seems to me that some people are asking for very low prices _and_ immediate support, and that just doesn't work.

You're waiting "for 24 hours", or "since yesterday", but there is no way how you could claim that you're waiting for two days. But let me put it this way ... for people who are shouting and demanding special attention, it's not unlikely to be a bit liberal when reporting their waiting time, it makes the issue seem more urgent.

Anyway, there's no need to discuss this endlessly. I just would like to ask you to consider that asking nicely might work as well next time you have a problem with GOG.

Um, no. That's about 24 hours, which in most countries I know constitutes one single day.

Glad OP got the issue resolved.
I can kind of see where he's coming from. I put in a support ticket with GOG two months ago regarding my not being able to log on and play SimCity 2013. All I keep getting back are these snippy replies telling me they don't carry that game. HA! Likely excuse!

You opened a support ticket on a Friday afternoon. You received confirmation that the ticket was received, that _is_ an official response. You then shout on public forums and on Twitter, complain about "shame GOG support", make false statements about your waiting time, require a human response on a Saturday, and you still say you don't want special treatment? Do you see the problem with that?

I never told you to "shut up". I criticized your way to address your issue. The issue itself is legitimate, but the shouting, insulting, impatience, making false claims, and general rudeness was unnecessary and clearly unwarranted. I have pointed that out, and asked you to consider asking nicely next time. That's very different from "shut up".

I'm not even asking you to say something like "Sorry, perhaps I should indeed try asking nicely next time.", though that would be nice of course.

It takes more than 1 person to cause your rep to go up or down, dont take it to heart rep is meaningless really but some members dont take kindly to negative posts or posts they dont agree with.

We have a user called GameRager, people took a dislike to him (he was partially to blame in the beginning) and he was neg repped out of principle for a while.

If you want to stick around the forums I for one welcome you but please be constructive.

Edit: you're also neg 3 now from what i can see.

Just in case this is an issue with English:
Most people will understand "after two days" to mean that 48 hours (or more) have already passed. You might say, "It is the second day since I contacted them", but it would be clearer to say, "I contacted them more than a day ago."

Anyway, have fun.

I don't want to gang up on anyone here but at least have the common courtesy of going after the right people.
