As I remember he said bad things about GOG and someone proved him wrong.

Normally (hopefully) forums get superseded to real life events. I have been on the verge of going rogue many times, but still at least take a glimpse every so often to see what's going on here.

It's a shame people you like to talk to here go missing for a while, or for ever, but that's how it goes.

And we'll probably never know because trying to search for things here is just shy of impossible. You pretty much have to know exactly what the post said before you can find it.

Not in my experience. Google has never been very good at this kind of thing. It's popular because it's fast and has a huge number of sites indexed, but it's pretty much completely worthless if you need the words to be next to each other, but aren't sure what the exact wording is.

Last week I was trying to find a post in a thread and I knew the people in the thread, the subject and the approximate wording and I never was able to find that thread. GOG seems to be particularly poorly indexed.

Now where is tinyE and why haven't he derailed this thread? :-D

I especially miss orcishgamer he was a real cool level headed guy. Why he stopped visiting the forums :(

He just slowly disappeared. It happens. He very rarely turns still pops out but you should accept he is gone. :-)
It happens to many people. There are tens of more known people who slowly lost interest or left for various reasons and there are hundreds of less recognizable people who did the same but you personaly haven't even noticed.

People come and leave. That's life. ;-)

Its like college one semester I got used to and started to make friends with people, then the next semester comes and we seperate classes :(

OR he could be simply taking a break from the forums.

I have periods during which I am active on forums, read them etc, and then suddenly stop doing it for some time (usually for no exact reason, it just happens) only to come back after some time.

This may be the case here.
