I get my music from amazon mp3 service, its a buck per song usually and they are good songs. of course, they don't have tool, but nobody has tool becuase tool is very odd and want people to buy the albums instead of mp3 donwloading.

I still buy CD... and being even more old school I buy CDs from retail store.
Amazon.
I still buy records. Not kidding. Just got the soundtrack to St Elmos Fire.

I mostly buy my mp3s from Amazon, although sometimes I buy directly from the artists if they offer that option.

I still buy cd's... mp3's just don't have much in the way of value or fun.
Amazon for bigger guys, Bandcamp or directly from the artist for smaller guys. I have big speakers though, so I prefer CDs so I can rip FLAC (though Bandcamp has FLAC downloads, downloading FLACs take a while).
for pretty much all the mp3s I need and some of the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOKKaix_4LY]best free albums anywhere (my opinion, and it's the correct one, nyah! :p ).

When buying, Bandcamp for digital albums, Levykauppa Äx or Anttila for physical CDs.
mp3s? please, so much quality loss, it's ridiculous.
Pfft, lossy formats are so... pedestrian.

I don't put any music on my computer that doesn't take up at least 250 times more space than it "needs" to.
I haven't bought music in years (nor downloaded it illegally). I think the lates CD I bought was 4 Non Blondes "Bigger, Faster, Better, More" about 5 years ago. Spotify free is enough to satisfy my music needs when I have a need for it.

Still buy CDs from retail stores mainly. Some from Amazon. I tend to like bands/music that's more enjoyable as a full album experience instead of just a track here or there, so mp3 downloads generally don't make sense for me.
Amazon.
only bought music as a digital download once. An itunes exclusive Zappa release. It sucked. You get a mediocre version of one song and then Frank Zappa telling the audience the history of the band on Mothers Day, 1974.
Still buy CDs. Also have bough few albumson iTunes simply because there weren't international release and it was too much to hassle to order these from a different country. My old iPoop is getting bit tired and wont last long anymore, but wont be replacing it with another Apple product.
