No warez please!
I found two pages with it but both have DRM. Don't want DRM. So any suggestion is welcome without DRM.
Google is a liar! First result for "Railroad Pioneer DRM free" is gamersgate.com which has DRM (needs internet connection and Gamersgate login info for installation). Luckily I read their terms first. And they are 40 percent more expensive here than in U.S. because they do USD:EUR 1:1 conversion!
The other one is gamesload.de which also uses DRM.

I gotta tell ya man, if you consider needing an account to be DRM, you aren't going to find this game DRM free. Anywhere you buy a game, it puts it in to an account...that's how these services work.

God damn, GOG's got such horrible DRM!

I don't talk about having an account, I talk about the verification when installing. This clearly is DRM! And what if I lose internet access or they go bankrupt and I want to install that again? The GOGs will install - I never delete setup files but keep them for backup reasons -, but the Gamersgate games?

I really should type this out somewhere and just copy/paste it in when needed. Anyway, here goes....:)
Any game that you download from Gamersgate can be stored for reinstall any time WITHOUT needing to verify anything online.
1. Download the downloader/installer as you normally would and start it.
2. When it's finished, it will start up the game's installer. BEFORE running the installer, navigate to whatever folder you downloaded to. You will see a folder called Gamersgate Temporary Folders. Go in to that, and you'll see a second folder with a number.
3. Copy that numbered folder somewhere else on your system. Nothing fancy, just copy it somewhere else (easiest way : select and drag it with your right mouse button on to your desktop and choose Copy Here).
4. Go ahead and install the game normally.
5. When it's done, the downloader/installer will ask what to do with the files. Let it remove them.
6. Rename that copied folder to whatever the game is. Now save it anywhere you want...an external drive, burn it to a disc, whatever.
There you go. Inside that copy of the folder is a full Setup executable. You no longer need the Gamersgate installer/downloader to re-download or re-install the game. And yes, I know that this works because I've done it with about 25 games. And considering the number of times this method has been told to people on the Paradox forums, I don't see the rules changing anytime soon to disallow this. Even if it did, any copied folders with executables would be valid from previous to a change.

I agree! Compared to Steam, this is DRM Hell!

Thanks! I'll get it from there then!

You seem to need a SarcMark, that'll be $2. Do you want fries with that?

Can I substitute that for tater tots? Daddy's hungry for some tots!
Just be aware that the trick of copying the unencrypted set up file (for GamersGate installs) doesn't work for all games. For whatever reason, some games finish installation the second you attempt to install the game (thus making it impossible to copy either the setup.exe or the entire folder before the setup file is re-encrypted.
