Crosmando: Yes, X game will come to GOG in Y time

It's pointless to ask about specific games, it's not like GOG is holding anything back, when a company lets them put a game on here, it's here, so just use wishlist and wait
You mean except for the hundreds they have licensed but aren't read or they are holding back so they can release new games twice a week, right?

But, yes it is pointless as you don't really know which ones they have licensed and of those which ones they have working.

liquidsnakehpks: ya this is much better than dropping the game on some sad week, probably everyone would have lost interest by , since gog is no longer the old thing , why not put up coming soon and pre orders , whats to loose?

Luned: The reason not to do "coming soon" for the older games is because if they then have to delay the release after finding a last-minute compatibility issue, some folks would be all over their case accusing them of false advertising.
Possibly the best explanation in this thread.
Since when "coming soon" means "tomorrow" ?

If they had some difficulties, they can release it later. What's the big deal?

The problem occurs when they stumble on an issue that cannot be resolved and the game is unplayable on Win 7 for example and won't be released at all.

But that's not true for any single DOSBox game.

I've seen games sit in the "Coming Soon" section for quite a while.

Then again, this is the internet where "soon" means "right NOW!" so take it for what it's worth...

TheEnigmaticT: We release 'em as fast as we can. Remastering games, getting goodies, getting approval, etc. all takes quite some time. And it's not like there's hundreds of us to get everything done.

There's no massive vault of remastered and ready to release games that we squat over and chuckle at your pleas for supplication. There are a goodly number of games that we've signed agreements to distribute, but there is a very long process from "the IP holder says that GOG.com can sell this game" to "GOG.com is actually selling the game."
And why should we believe you? Your avatar has a goatee.
one of the best city building games ive ever played.hope to see it soon
