Hello im new member to GOG.com and I heard from other people that you give away games,so I signed up and try it,so when do you giveaway games. And if there is a game for free when it goes can somebody inform me?

If you're talking about GOG's occasional freebies, your best bet would be to sign up to the newsletters (My Account/Settings/Subscriptions), as GOG usually announces their freebies through that. I'm afraid you missed some of the best stuff in the summer sale.

You've also got a number of free games already in your account when you sign up.

Basically what jamyskis said. You get a number of free titles for signing up - http://www.gog.com/games##price=free - but when it comes to games that are normally paid-for titles, it's your responsibility to keep your eyes open for when a title is given away.

You can also enter giveaways done by members here.

They gave away Torchlight, Still Life 2, Omerta, and Alan Wake: American Nightmare. If you'd like I'll PM you a spare Torchlight key I have.
