overread: if I didn't own the games I'd rate 6 far far higher than 5 ever could get to (since Bastion was the only good game in 5 ;))

jefequeso: Amnesia and Limbo say hi.
And Psychonauts! Why is no one mentioning Psychonauts?! Also, Braid and SMB are both good, but I imagine pretty much everyone already had them.

SirPrimalform: They shouldn't be setting the average price... the average should be determined by the first purchaser.

OmegaX: You are right, they don't set the average price. Last time, Notch and the bronies made their initial contributions to the bundle very early and then kept raising the amount trying to beat each other. Because of them the average was high since the beginning and people that wanted the BTA game (Bastion) kept the average high. This time, neither of them has contributed to the bundle so the average is lower.
That makes sense as well. But I wonder what the price is before anyone buys a game? Is it 1c? So if the first person was quick enough and cheap enough he/she could get every thing 2c?

HIB V was FULL OF AWESOME GAMES... that most of us already had. That didn't stop me from buying it and then buying it again and gifting it, but yeah, most of us "hardecorez" already had those games... a couple of times apiece.

HIB 6 is worth buying just for SPAZ which I already know a ton of of folks have not played, and seriously, you're doing yourself and gaming history a disservice by not doing so (pay a buck if you weren't getting HIB 6 already and play it, seriously).

Ok, ok...
There was something wrong about it? Damn. I bought it for 2 games, and that's more than i can say for the previous bundles. I guess i'm weird.

Like I keep saying, especially with the people that keep saying "oh, I own 3 of these, but I don't own the 2 or 3 others. I'll just pick them up in a Steam sale."

Why? Why not now? Chances are you can pay $1 and get the game, and (if you're not interested), the other games you didn't want, because maybe you'll like them anyways, and you get DRM-FREE versions of the other games, in the event Steam goes down one day.

Why would you wait? It makes no sense to me.

I think You misunderstood me. I have most of the Bundles. But this one was of most interest two me, as it had two games that i'd actually enjoy. And that's more than the previous ones had for me.

Oh, no, I used your "I guess I'm weird" comment as a stepping stone to rant about the oddity of Steam's userbase.

I see, there's different sides of weirdness, i guess.;)

I'm weird, because most of the HiB titles are not interesting me, stuff like Limbo, Amnesia or Super Meat Boy, but i'm really happy i could finally buy Torchlight digitally, and pay less than i would for a boxed version. If anyone is wondering why i like this one so much.

Well, I assume it's awesome, but I haven't played it yet :P

You should definitely play it ASAP. It's a Tim Schafer game, which means it's occasionally mechanically frustrating, but the brilliant characterization, writing, and design makes up for it tenfold.

This. Been playing SPAZ for a few days now, and it's an extraordinary game, just might be one of the best I've ever played.
And it is over.

HIB 6 raised $2,048,330.42 @ 6.48 average. This makes a total higher then 1 and 2, but lower then 3,4 and 5. However, the average is higher the HIB 3 (@$5.83) and 4 (@$5.45). So when it all is finished, I would not say anything was wrong with it at all, but it became an average bundle.

Yup, it did ok in the end. I guess HIB V was just that much better than all the other HIBs (as many people have suggested here).

Bring on HIB 7/VII/seven/SEVEN/Seven/Se7en or whatever they will call it (hopefully in 6 months time so everyones' wallets have time to recover)
