Mine is a mixture of my virtuel and real life name and I am using it everywhere.
You can't see it really well here since it is so small, but the background picture is a Moon being reflected in a lake in association with my forum name.

My avatar is a painting done by Banksy. Saw the documentary Through the Giftshop and fell in love with his work. This avatar is one of two that I always use. My oldest and most beloved avatar is a picture of Reagan with moose ears.

It' a confused GOGbear. Does it have a background story? Yes. But I won't tell you yet ;)

I don't have a lot of pics on my iPad, but wanted something comic related, so only had a few choices for an easy upload. Luckily, I had this cover scan of one of my favorite series.

My avatar is the disk holding location form the back of Flynn's jacket in the revamped TRON movie. I plan to make one of those jackets for Halloween one year, complete with light tape inside the sleeves and all. SO I did the research for the graphic and my wife said hell no, I am not sewing that onto the back of a jacket so you can spend $200 on special effects to make it cool to wear once a year. but meh.

Mine's a picture of an Arctic fox I took while in the Arctic about 15 years ago. Or, I think I took the picture. Alcohol was a factor. I don't remember taking the picture. I only vaguely remember seeing the foxes. When I developed the film (for you youngsters, this was something we had to do to take pictures in the old days), there was a picture of a fox taken with my camera. Maybe I took it. Maybe I didn't. Either way, it's kind of a cool picture of an Arctic fox.
