Its a Drop Bear. One of the most fuzziest and vicious of beasts of the Australian Outback. The only sure fire way to prevent attack when you go bushwalking is to rub vegemite behind your ears and put a lamington down your trousers.
It's Gothmog from Dungeon Master.
Fractals are the best, so complex, yet so simple.
It's the most direct way of relating to others how badass I am.

Or I'm just a big fan of that aircraft.
Just a little screenshot from the title screen of my favourite platformer. One of the very first action games I played.

OT, but I wonder about the Hog's future. Haven't read much about it for years.

They've been quietly updating it for a good while now.
My avatar is my actual real life head. My hair is styled a little different now, but it's me.

My avatar is my actual real life self. I'm sitting in a different position now, but it's me.

Also, it used to be Mr Saturn from Earthbound/Mother 2. Does anyone remember me that far back?
It's an icon from the old shareware (now freeware) game Dink Smallwood.
I thought it looked cool, and I love me some Dink. (That sounds weird)
There is a Mac Hall comic strip wherein Ian and J.M. are watching The Matrix Reloaded. A human general gloats that scorching the sky will cut off the machines from their power source. A subordinate of his then points out that this will probably kill all life on the Earth (except for maybe some ecosystems sustained by geothermal vents in the ocean,) and the general vaporizes him with the "VOIP" seen in my avatar.
It's the face of the Avatar from Ultima VII the Black Gate. I used it for years as a reminder for GOG that this game was still missing. When it was no longer missing on the site, I kept it up because it happens to be my most favorite game ever.

Damn, this thread is two years old, and someone just revived it hours ago.

I really like Commander Keen and Jagged Alliance 2.

A big travesty the fact that they added Duke 3d years ago and still couldn't find time for Duke 1 and 2.
Simple, yet beautiful Metro-like heart expressing love.

I was going to do i heart e, but it looks bad here on GOG.

kalirion: Mine's from 8-bit theater, and in that particular story arc where the image is taken from BM is my role model :)

I even emailed Brian Clevinger for permission to use it as an avatar on forums.
Yeah, I loved that story arc. :D

This isn't the only thread to be revived lately. It's been the night of the living dead here as far as thread necromancy is concerned.
