I know : ) But as I said earlier, they need to get rights to sell those games. And that's not easy. Some games have multiple owners (one company owns the series, other company owns this one installment, another company owns the music etc.)
I believe they do what they can to bring us as many quality old games as possible. Hell, they brought me BioForge, do you know how long I've been looking for this gem? And if they add some new indie relases - well, you don't have to buy them. Of your list I bought A new beginning, Primordia and Stacking. GOG made some moolah, devs made some moolah, I got myself some great DRM-free fun. Everybody's happy!

4 out of 5 Wing Commander games are already released. Personally I always liked Wing Commander 3 and 4.
Wing Commander 5 Prophecy is not to my liking. :P

Although I'd like to see Wing Commander: Privateer with Christopher Walken.

...and I was really, really happy when they released Primordia (and other WEG games this year; I was unhappy when they didn't accept another this year's indie release - so much I made a thread about it and almost made a complete ass of myself there).
Good new games should have their place on GOG and ones GOG puts in their store are top notch.

Yeah, using a pirated release of a game isn't a good way to back up an argument that GOG isn't "releasing enough old games."

They have to work out licenses and agreements with companies to sell stuff here. There are some that just refuse to play ball like Bethesda, Lucas Arts, ect that they can't really do anything about.

If the number of companies willing to play ball with older games is starting to flat-line, GOG is right to release newer stuff that will attract business and keep them going.

There is no magic wand that anyone can wave that'll make the big publishers willing to release their games here. If gog wants to stay in business they need publishers willing to sell here and selling games without the proper permissions would make this site illegal. It is in gog's best interest to stay on the side legality.

Also whatever negotiations gog may have made with lucasarts would have been reset since their buyout by Disney.

Anyways, on-topic: Jwrath, since earlier this year GOG has been releasing more indie games alongside old ones to presumably raise income for the site. Keep in mind that they can simply release the new ones far more than they can release old ones because new ones don't need hardly any testing; that's why we see far more of those.

Technically it's not suppose to be known as "Good Old Games" anymore, even though I still think of it that way. The new stuff doesn't interest me, but I (try to) accept that these new indie titles are ones that people want. I don't buy them from GOG, but if they do sell well, who am I to stop others from purchasing them and GOG from selling them.

Oh yes, and licensing issues can be very hard too...

That's not just another iso of the original game. It's a complete remake with compatibility to newer systems and graphics upgrade.
And I didn't point this to say that this is how GOG should work. I just said that as a note for the Final Fantasy fans.

I know about licensing that's why my list didn't include any LUCAS ARTS games. From other forums I've seen that an arrangement with LUCAS ARTS is not possible for the moment.

But GOG has already released ATLANTIS: THE LOST TALES which is a CRYO INTERACTIVE GAME. Well since they came to an arrangement with CRYO why don't they release DUNE, LOST EDEN or even UBIK?
ELECTRONIC ARTS gave them permission to release LITTLE BIG ADVENTURE. So why don't they release FADE TO BLACK as well.
They already launched OUTCAST and SILVER from INFOGRAMES.
Why don't they launch STARSHOT: SPACE CIRCUS FEVER as well since they have the license?

That's my point. Since they already have the license from various companies, why don't they release more games from them instead of focusing on NEW games that already work without their special installers or whatever they do to make them work? :P

Because either the licenses from those companies don't cover those particular games, GOG doesn't want to release them for whatever reason or they are gonna release them but they haven't gotten around to it yet.

As Kristian above me stated, licenses only cover the selling of particular games. GOG was even wary of adding dependent-expansions to the games they have from EA because of those issues, never mind other titles from the catalog of companies they have deals with. Yes having a deal in place with a company does make it more likely that more games will show up from that company, but it is not a fait accompli. This is of course beyond the technical issues to getting games working which you alluded to.

Some games even have multiple owners. So Star Trek games for instance are unlikely to come here until Paramount signs off since it is not just the publishers, many of whom are on GOG already, who own the rights to Star Trek games. Paramount will want a piece of the pie too since they own Star Trek. GOG has to negotiate with them as well as with the publishers who own those particular games. That's what GOG had to do with Hasbro and Atari when they both owned some of the D&D classics.
