I'd like the classic 2D Prince of Persia games.
I think I already mentioned the games I want in another thread mainly
TES III: Morrowind
Age of Mythology
Recettear

Then there is another

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

You may be thinking to yourself "All movie to video games are shit. You are crazy Darilon" You may have played the later games in the series and thought they were crap. No complaints here, they were pretty god awful. What do people actually want in a Harry Potter game? To play through the events of the books? To stop Voldemort and his nefarious schemes?

Hell no. You want to explore Hogwarts in an open world setting. Take classes, duel other wizards and collect all the chocolate frog cards. Chamber of Secrets has all that and more.

How about a game with entertaining minigames? Sound impossible? Gnome tossing is insanely fun and addictive if a little racist to the gnome population.

"But Darilon, I want a fleshed out storyline and good character development"
Stop lying to yourself. If you wanted that you would reread the books.

CanThing12: I like Street Fighter 2 myself and would like to see it here on GOG. I just put down games I know there are PC versions of. I do believe there is a dos version of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, but as for the other Street Fighter 2 games, I'm not sure if a PC version of them exists.
avatar
pimpmonkey2382: There's pc ports of champion edition, super, super turbo.
LOL I thought - "Champion edition - Super, Super Turbo" was one game for a sec there, sounds about right!

I want ALL teh Gaems but some of the most glaring omissions are:
Albion
Freddy Freakas
C&C series
Settlers 1
Achemedian Dynasty
Emporer: Rise of the Middle Kingdom
The rest of the Driver series
Flatout: Ultimate Carnage (once they remove the GFWL)
American McGee's Alice games
and the Fallouts back again!
It would be nice to get Sega and their Genesis Classics collection too, as they're being sold DRM free elsewhere (don't know if its a regional pricing / restriction thing though)

Icedude32: Hello there! I've been a user of GOG since about march 2012, since that time I've accumulated about 350-360 games that GOG has had to offer since that time. Many of the awesome games of past and some present has made it's way here but there are still gems out there that I think would make a great addition to the GOG library.

As I said. A lot of awesome titles are already on here and no Genre has been left out (Need more fighters though).

Now I'm gonna go through some of the games that I want on here :D

Cold Fear: A lovely little Resident Evil style game developed by Darkworks (responsible for Alone in the Dark: A new Nightmare) and published by Ubisoft. It's already available on Steam but it would be awesome to have a DRM-Free copy on here :)

Pariah & Warpath: These two games kinda go hand in hand as they are run on the same engine and made by the same people, Digital Extremes. Have had a brief time with Pariah on the Xbox but I'd love to play it all the way through along with Warpath.

Gex: A slimy little platformer made by crystal dynamics where you play as Gex who is sucked in to a TV-World and has to fight the evil Rez!

Now most of the RTS and RPGS are already on here that a lot of people want but one RTS which is not here I'd love to play again and that's Rise of Nations along with it's expansions :)

Eradicator is another title I'd love to have here but that one already has a huge chance of coming, thanks to Tommo who has been re-releasing old Accolade titles here on GOG like Slave Zero, Redline, Deadlock 1 and 2 and Waxworks.

Thanks for reading this, I'd love to hear some of your suggestions :D

anomaly: However much of that list is not likely to happen. Certainly not the Halflife series.
Ouch. Way to spit all over those who like the Half-life games. What did they do to your children that you actively don't want to see non-Steam gamers play them? Their are games I don't like but I don't begrudge others wanting to see them on GOG.
My top-10-games-I-wish-GOG-had:
1.Sentinel Worlds: Future Magic (Its very much "The Bards Tale" except space and Sci-Fi and spaceships and stuff like that)
2.Day of the Tentacle (awesome adventure game)
3.Zoo Tycoon (with the addons)
4.Command & Conquer: Renegade
5.Fallout (whichever entries in the series it is that are like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion except Sci-Fi)
6.Contraption Zack
7.Neuromancer
8.Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy
9.Star Trek (the RTS-type game where you get to control and direct fleets of ships and blow up Borg cubes whichever one that was)
and 10.The Bards Tale Construction Set (I never could figure out how to import my own graphics to that game using the included tool)
Silent Hill 2/3/The Room above all else.Pipe dream I know.

Why should my believing many games won't make it to gog mean I'm spitting on other gamers? Half-life 2, and the following series and spin-offs, are Steam's flagship series and there has been no mention at all that Valve would have them be anything other than exclusive. I love all of the Half-life games, I just don't see them coming to gog anytime soon.

I think you have misinterpreted my statement. If you had read the rest of my post you'd see I argue for removing games from exclusivity (and I will add removing DRM here too) after a certain length of time (I suggested five years).

So if I am spitting on anyone it is the publishers who are staunchly against releasing their games from the shackles of DRM or exclusivity.

I guess I did misinterpret you. My bad. Even re-reading your statement I Don't see anything that contradicts the phrase "Certainly not Half-life". Maybe it's just a matter of sentence structure or maybe I should have read the start of your post more carefully.

But yeah bar Steam going under or Valve having a huge change of heart I don't see any of there games coming here. But I live in hope (for the later not the former).

Not the start of the post, but the phrase exactly before "Certainly not the Halflife series." It's not:

Thread: "What would you like to have on GOG?"
anomaly: "Certainly not the Halflife series."

It's:

Thread: "What would you like to have on GOG?"
anomaly: "game x, game y, Half Life. However much of that list is not likely to happen. Certainly not the Halflife series."

I made a mistake but it actually reads the other way round.

anomaly: That list I'd like to have on gog!

However much of that list is not likely to happen. Certainly not the Halflife series.

So currently, just for argument's sake:
Timeshift (Steam sale 75% off right now! Sorry gog...)
Dungeon Siege 1 - 3
Alice: Madness Returns
American McGee's Alice (not likely, but I still have my discs!)
Hydrophobia: Prophecy
Van Helsing
"However much of that list is not likely to happen. Certainly not the Halflife series. game x, game y"

Okay... Swap "game x, game y, Half Life" for "I have 78 games on Steam [...] That list I'd like to have on gog!"

Your getting awfully smug. Your cutting things out took look smarter than you are. He says he has 78 games some of which he never plays so really he only has 65 games he wants here. Then he says However unlikely it is he doesn't want the Half-life games there. So it's fair to useume the they are among the 13 games he doesn't want ported. There you can make any thing sound right if you cut out the right stuff. Which is what you're doing.
I had a very quick scroll through this topic and I didnt see this posted, However to save people a little time I think THIS sums up what us gog members want.

jonwil: 8.Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy
The Infocom text adventure?
You can play it in your browser here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/game_nolan.shtml

on the actually BBC, as legit as tea and crumpets!
And with graphics too! Choice of 2 sets of graphics, in fact!

Wow going from never playing a game on your shelf to not wanting it is a stretch! Especially as he would have purchased them at some point!
I've probably NEVER played at least half of the 200 games on my shelf but I WANT them all! (Well maybe there's a couple of exception - Kingdom: The Far Reaches, I'm looking at you!)
