HOLY COW
I was really happy, because I was sure it would be Lucas Arts with all their lovely adventure and Star Wars games, but EA means Bullfrog and Origin games, and (hopefully!) Adeline (Little Big Adventure). Big thumb up for GOG guys!

(Still, I'm hoping for LA to come somewhere this year...)
"Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit"
I puked from excitement.
My reaction was AWESOME! Then I thought, why Privateer and not WC1 or 2 first!

Then I was wondering what the differences were between the GOG version of Privateer and the Gemini Gold version? I know it's a remake, but it's seemed fairly accurate, and if there were any real improvements to the game.

At any rate, I can't wait to see what the rest of the games are going to be.

Yeah. About covers it.
This.
"Where's System Shock 2?"

I'm not gonna whine about it too much. GOG brings some of the best titles of the past for 6 to 10 bucks a pop, and that sits just fine with me. The fact that there's going to be over 25 availible titles coming in from EA means that there'll be something for everyone.

Perhaps that'll be enough to tide us over until a System Shock 2 announcement in the future ;)
The games they launched with are insane alone. Privateer, Underworld 1&2... happy day!!!
My thoughts are two-fold.

First Side: Yay! I so want to try the Ultima games (Ultima Underworld 1+2 is on ym wishlist already) and i really, really, really, REALLY hope the older Need For Speed games come over to GOG.com

Second Side: Even more games unto my wishlist...i'm never gonna be able to clear it all O.O

Seconded... I just played through Ultima underworld a week ago... otherwise I would've bought that as well.
My first thought was something along the lines of "this creates many new possibilities for GOG". I'll be very interested to see what's next for them and us.

Frankly, though, the only game I'm really excited about right now is WC:P (which currently does not include the add-on) and the hope of getting the rest of the WC franchise on GOG later this year. The other games announced do not really interest me. Well, I might try some of them out.

We'll just have to wait a few months before we see how this whole thing will continue (I'm really hoping for Blade Runner, myself), and if/when the identity of the other two potential publishers can be revealed.
i done a little pee pee in my pants
I'm just happy Alpha Centauri is on the way.
At first I was like: "Sweeet, hope Syndicate and Road Rash don't take long!"

Then when I read it didn't include Syndicate, I thought: "hmm... I guess they're just testing to see what their most popular classics today are for future milking with new games. (like they mentioned a wee while back)"
