Navagon: Normally pop ups are just annoying, but on that site you made a good call. Malware wasn't far behind. I'd recommend adblock plus. But most of all I'd recommend noscript if you're going near sites like that.
Its true purpose was to tell the truth and serve as an archive for it. Mostly about various internet users. Particularly attention whores and trolls, but generally anyone whose mere presence on the internet gave rise to the most delectable lulz. This was backed up with as much evidence about them as possible as it was the truth about these people that was so funny.
Uncyclopedia was much derided for being about as funny as poll tax because its efforts were purely fictitious and overworked. But ironically that's what ED has now become.

sauvignon1: So does anyone even use ED anymore? Considering the malware and the bullshit, I would assume noboady uses it now.

Navagon: Ages ago they were begging for money to keep the site online. But it had already gone downhill before then. So some people must like it enough to keep it afloat, as it doesn't seem it can rely on its turd-like qualities for buoyancy.

sauvignon1: Maybe they keep it afloat just so can tell their friends to go to it and get infected lol. Joking aside, it seems ED is in it's death throes. From what you've told me, I'd say it has less than a year to live. Thanks for the info, by the way. I love that there are so many nice people on this forum.

Navagon: Don't bank on it. I was thinking the same thing when they had the begging bowl out. They somehow manage to keep it going. It's a mystery how.
