htown1980: Starlight Inception looks like its gonna be close, but not make it, they need $35,000 in less than a day...
Did look at that a couple of times but a Steam-only PC release is a definite no-go for me. would be more deserving IMHO since they've committed to a DRM-free release. <div class="quot quot_text normal_color "><div class="small_avatar_2_h"><img src="/upload/avatars/2012/01/974352df4b007769f0a56690cc5d738422e6b2c6_t.jpg" width="16" height="16" alt="avatar" /></div><span class="quot_text"><span class="quot_user_name">ne_zavarj: </span></span>Is anyone posted this yet ?... <a href="http://www.gog.com/forum/general_archive/what_kickstarter_projects_are_worth_taking_note_of/post720" class="link_arrow"></a></div>It's in the [url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/what_kickstarter_projects_are_worth_taking_note_of/page1]first post of this thread - c'mon....

I'll wait till they add "DRM-free". ATM just gave 1$.
Unfortunately, more and more developers prefers Steamcrap over the DRM free release .

Same with Spaceventure. Spread the gospel of GOG and DRM-free.

Really?

I'd say that kickstarter teaches them they need to release games DRM-free to get more money.

Most of the bigger games started with Steam only, and they changed (or clarified) it later.

SpaceVenture is DRM-free isn't it? What's up with no digital download at the 100$ boxed level though?

Oh. I think I misread this part:
That’s right, a DRM-free digital download version of the game for PC, MAC, or Linux, a code that allows you to play the game on Steam, as well as all the behind the scenes material turned over to you once the game has been released.
Yeah it sucks that there's going to be no digital download at the $100 level.
Wow, bummer Delaware St. John isn't getting any money. Those were fun games. (would be great GOG games, hint! hint! )

Thanks for all the links. I've already backed our great GK author and Grim Dawn just by stumbling across them... but was nice to see the other games on the horizon. I'm becoming a big fan of the kickstart business model... hope to see good results from the games there.
