Don't like sombre RPG games with heavy rulebooks? Then check out:

The Very Hungry Cthulhupillar (Jun 2)

Delightful children's storybook with a Lovecraftian twist - if you're bored of your little 'uns complaining about the bogeyman in the wardrobe, this just might cure them of that.... ;)

(Not for listing but just had to be mentioned!)

I love it! As a father to young children I'm familiar with the original, and it's such a great fit.
Anyone know of a way to filter Kickstarter to only show Recently Launched - Video Games ? Best I manage to get is recently launched which just undo's any category selection you have, same if you select the category afterwards, it negates recently launched.

As I recall, you can't do that through Kickstarter. You should be able to do it through Kicktraq though, like this (sort by newest).

Thanks, I figured it might be that. I imagine it's a way to force people to look at other projects anyway, to get people to back stuff they otherwise wouldn't have looked for.

Makes sense, but I really don't care for it in this case, there's just too many non-video games coming out to stroll through the newly released kickstarters all the time.

Combat Cats, a match-3 style RPG/action game
Massive Chalice - New game from Double Fine, with Brad Muir as lead
If turn-based tactics and feudal fantasy had a lovechild, and that offspring founded a mighty century-spanning dynasty, it would be MASSIVE CHALICE.
I'm saving my money for the Larian pledge manager.

...what?

Divinity: Original Sin funded recently, and I'll be upgrading my pledge once the (paypal) pledge manager is online. (I also hope to save up for a PC that can run Original Sin.)

You might find Baby's First Mythos: Learning With Lovecraft (Jun 7) "D is for Dagon" worth checking out too, then.

Who'd have thought the Elder Gods were so child-friendly? :)

There's also "The Cthulhu Rainy Day Activity Book" and "Mother Hydra's Mythos Rhymes".
Another 3D printer project - but this one is available for under $500.

The Buccaneer® - The 3D Printer that Everyone can use! (Jun 29)

A couple of caveats - it is smaller than other printers and *cough* uses a cloud server (there is an offline mode also, thankfully).
