Stiler: The Big blue needs some help (press, word of mouth).
It launched last week and has a goal of 665k, but seems stalled at 44k:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/annunziata/the-next-ecco-the-dolphin-adventure-game
It's an underwater adventure game from the Ecco the dolphin creator (he's been trying for years to make a new Ecco game but sega won't greenlight one, and won't let him have the IP either).
He's also being joined by Spencer Nielson (who did the music for Ecco among many other classic games, like "Sonic Boom" from Sonic the Hedgehog games).
I LOOOOOOOOOVED Ecco The Dolphin back in the day and we get hardly ANY underwater adventure games, let alone one where you can control dolphins, sharks, whales, etc.
Game sounds great from the info they've given and I really really want to see it succeed.
gandalf.nho: I was interested because I played the Ecco games but first was the MMO talk and that collectible cards who turns all the tiers in physical ones and you must pledge 5000 to get all the exclusive ones. If they reformule the project, scrapping this card idea, they will have more chance It launched last week and has a goal of 665k, but seems stalled at 44k:

The cards do not mean that the animals you won't get unless you have them.
ALL The animals are in the base game, and you simply have to FIND them and have a chance to recruit them. Some are extremely rare, etc.
These cards are merely a way to get quick-access to them without having to find them within the game world, they are not required in any way shape or form to get access to the creatures in game.
The codes merely let you by-pass finding them in game and have access to them by inputing the code on the card (which can then be put back on the card and traded/given to someone else).
