mystral: I do go outside you know. And I see what my students and colleagues wear. And pretty much every one of them uses their cellphone exclusively to tell time.
There are only a few who still use watches.

nijuu: Maybe its different over there. Or perhaps different demographic? hmmmmm
I think the reference to "my students and colleagues" says it all....
Forum code is borked again. Not as bad as the last time though; this one I can deal with.

Why? I teach in college, fyi, which means students are typically in the 18-25 age range, and other professors can be anywhere from late twenties to their sixties.

My point exactly. It's hardly a representative sample, not only because of their ages.
"In Unwritten the player creates and guides a nomadic clan on a one-way journey across a dangerous wilderness. It is a turn based strategy game with maps, story elements, units, abilities, and enemies that are all randomly generated. Along the way decisions (and death) are permanent, and each play session is unique."

It seems the lead is one of the original team members for Dishonored and they're planning to release their development tools to the community right from the start.

Looks interesting
Tom Vasel of The Dice Tower needs monies:

Is Amazon the only way to pledge on Kickstarter? No PayPal or their own system? I could have sworn I read somewhere about them having their own payment processing...

(I tried to get the Groupees Greenlight bundle using the Amazon Payment option -- they blocked the transaction and suspended my account. It appears it's still in a suspended state +2 weeks later and I can't pledge to the projects I want to support through Kickstarter. I've sent them an email inquiring about the issue, but it's just annoying that they won't let me spend my own money.)

They use their own system for UK based projects and Amazon.com for US based ones. There's no way around it, but some projects open a PayPal channel once the funding target is reached.

That sounds really interesting, although it seems more like King of Dragon Pass with added roguelike elements than Civilization.
And while I love KoDP, I typically dislike roguelikes. I'll wait for more information, I guess.

Patience. They promised an update soon that will answer questions people had. I'm sure that's one of them.
