Star Citizen has passed well by it's $500,000 goal, and as of now, seems to have passed it's overall 2 Mil goal to greenlight it. Lastest update:

I think my lack of enthusiasm for yet another 3D printer project is what many people feel, looking at what these projects get compared to what Printrbot got.
ANGEL OF MERCY SERIES-BOOK ONE is a graphic novel that looks good and interesting (although not exactly my cup of tea). I found about it on the Pinkerton Road forum.

They're not as good-looking as Form1, I'll agree, but to judge from the comments Printrbot was rather rough'n'ready when it shipped...

Form1 and B9creator are high-res and consequently cost a lot more. They can afford to be good-looking.
Timber and Stone is ending in about 30 hours. I'm still not sure whether I'm interested or not. It looks pretty cool, but does anybody know whether it's DRM-free, and if he plans to port it to Linux? I never got any answer back, and there doesn't seem to be much of anything pertaining to that in the comments or FAQ.

The FAQ in the site says it will be DRM-free, regarding Linux I don't found a official answer, but the dev is using Unity which version 4 had Linux support, maybe it will create a Linux port in the future together with the Mac one.

Oh, the official site. There doesn't seem to be a word of it anywhere on the kickstarter page, at least not in plain sight, but it's right there in black and white on the FAQ of the official site. I never bothered to check the main site.

Knowing that it's being made in Unity is also helpful. Lots of games seem to be made in Unity these days. Linux support can't come soon enough. Hopefully it'll be painless enough that all of these Unity developers will port to Linux. Whether it had DRM or not was kind of a deal breaker, and the fact that Linux support is feasible is nice, so I think I might back this one. :)

Vestin: His game might end up being decent, but...
How do I put this nicely ? He doesn't sound like the sort of person who would look up to philosophers, respect academics, research humanities. That's fine if you're designing something akin to chess, less fine when you're dealing with as story-reliant a genre as RPGs...
Oddly enough, watching these gameplay videos gives off an impression of a very charming game with some amusing dialogue: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLx9XO24DuuEjagFfU4tNnNtqjd3tQAdaz&feature=plcp

I know. There's this one part where he finds a crab and a seashell... and puts the crab in the seashell, giving it a cozy new home ;_;.
I honestly don't know what to think.

:-D I know! Some people just bring out their worst online, I guess.

I figure we all have crap inside our heads that others would balk at if we didn't have the sense to keep it to ourselves... A skill that is sadly missing in some "special" individuals. A complete disregard of social norms is not, however, an unforgiveable personal fault like pedophilia or such, and even that's more common than it should. I think I'd actually rather give money to a raving madman with bad manners, than a grown man who marries a teenager he met online when she was 15.
Starforged:

http://www.indiegogo.com/starforge

"StarForge is a game about gathering resources, building bases, crafting anything you want, and surviving on an alien planet. Earth's star is dying and humanity transferred as much technology and resources as possible and left on a one way mission to populate another planet.

StarForge was inspired by Halo, Warcraft 3, Borderlands, Terraria, and Minecraft. It borrows elements from the RTS, FPS, RPG, Voxel Builder, Tower Defense, and Physics Sandbox genres. We are building a dark and serious universe and want the player to live out their own unique story on the procedural planet."
