Space them out for crying out loud. I love Al and Larry and Collectors Editions, but come on... can't at least the old school adventure devs get together and figure out a time-line so they don't compete with each other?

Video's cool though. Mammary Lane :Beavis/Butthead laugh:

The Delaware St. John games are actually quite enjoyable and not your usual BFG defined p&c games - they do have actual p&c adventures, see here. A friend has the 1st one and I've played it I've played (IIRC, they are rather short (a few hours) and not that difficult) and I've checked out the demos of the the other two. In the third one, you play as the female character at some point., which was a nice touch.
Thanks for replying mate. BFG is only place to get these earlier games?

Anime-ish sidescroller thing. Features chick with cat ears talking. Ought to get a few otakus excited about it.

You should also read the How It Works.
Adventure Gamers and GameBoomers have reviews on them (FWTW anyway).

I think they're cheaper from BFG (if you don't have an account, you can get one of them for $2,99, but if you're outside the USA, BFG applies VAT), though the 1st one isn't available there.

lowyhong: Lol, for $250 you get the Larry Condom.

Man. Collector's Edition is $100, and the Premium is $250. These things are starting to become more and more expensive.

SLP2000: It's the future of CE.

In a few years you'll have a choice - digital download or expensive CE.
Depending where u are in the world, this pricing has been around for many years. AAA rated games CE editions (PC) at retail stores were $100 for a longtime and only recently jacked up to $150+ (Starcraft 2 etc)

Kind of reminds me of River City Ransom.
Is there a referral program at kickstarter?

It does look interesting, but it doesn't look like they'll reach their goal.

Nah. I just post ones I find interesting or odd :D.

I'm asking about that ?ref=.... part of your link. I don't mind, I'm just curious, but lazy at the moment to check it myself. I was actually thinking about a referral program there myself :)

You can get the boxed copy from Amazon and eBay. DRM-free.

It just means he found it in the spotlight section.

Ahh I see. I think it's just something you get when you get directed from a page or something.

Ah, thanks. I just had an idea for a ref program the other day. Something like if you pledge some money then you get your own ref link and if people pledge using your link then you get something like an extra copy or jump to a higher level or something. I thought there was something like it already :)

htown1980: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1127228691/the-humn-wallet-the-best-minimal-rfid-blocking-wal

..unless you already have a couple of bits of plastic and an elastic band...
avatar
Red_Avatar: Yeah another "solution" that doesn't make a lot of sense. I mean, think of this:
- to take out money, you have to use pressure to open the wallet and keep it open = fiddly
- you can't carry coins
- you can't easily browse through your wallet and it's made for very little content so its use is limited
- you actually carry content on the OUTSIDE which means it can get damaged more easily or get wet if your pants get wet

Honestly, there's so many downsides to this. In reality, a wallet that fits tight will hold items tightly inside anyway.
I showed my friend who imports rfid wallets this and he pointed out the band would break farily quickly (having to buy new ones all the time).

lowyhong: Valdis Story: Abyssal City (April 27)
I must say i quite like this one. Like the artwork. And fact its a bf/gf tag team making the game. Cute :).Backed.

Quite a few nice projects. Shame it isn't easy to find them . Some of them too late to pledge a higher tier cause its already sold out is a bit of a bugger :/
Thanks for making this thread btw :)
