mushy101: Practising, studying, researching muslim here. I see the religion I subscribe to is rare around these parts. :(
Ah well, also I did some research into Jedi as a religion, I actually never thought it so be so popular, the more you know!

I bet there are more people with Your faith, but considering how stereotypes, and the media campaign, and some more or less fanatical people shaped the view on Your beliefs, i'd say they rather keep it to themselves. Too bad, because it's a very interesting subject.

It is, but as you said yourself, a few bad apples (that are increasing in number) have to ruin it for everyone else!
I don't dwell on it, simply because that serves no purpose and does more harm then good to oneself. Better to point out where the insufferable, wrongly guided, malevolent extremists are wrong, and actually do something about them.
I believe in something that doesn't imply that believing could manage any belief to actually have any concrete pertinence in regards of the complexity of life and the universe. In fact believing is the first step into believing that something could explain what believing means and the obvious answer is that belief can't be believed without faith which implies a belief in something...

I don't care or know. I'm not an atheist, who BELIEVES in nothing, I simply don't know and care.

I'm an internet atheist: I give derogatory comments whenever I see or hear a believer of something.

NA/None.
And no, I am not an atheist. Atheism is a religion just like any other, and it's dogma is even more laughable than many "mainstream" religions.

Navagon: Weak atheist.

jsdratm: agnostic

That's not an answer. Both theists and atheists can be agnostic. But everyone is either an atheist or theist.

incorrect.

barleyguy: No they aren't. Agnostic can mean that someone is undecided between being a theist and an atheist. True atheism is a strong belief that there is definitely no god(s), and requires as much faith as being a true theist. There are also many other realms of belief other than atheist and theist, such as the continuum between beliefs about creation and beliefs about the behavior of the universe. There is also the question of the nature of reality. Certain beliefs about reality's nature can invalidate the importance of atheism versus theism.

THANK you. Someone has a clue.

Cambrey: I disagree. An agnostic is not an undecided person. Unlike theist and atheist, an agnostic doesn't affirm anything. When you don't know, you don't make any statement. An agnostic simply says "why not".
avatar
Navagon: Atheists don't have any particular views.

Of course they do : there is no god, there is nothing after death.

You don't get to disagree with facts.
