Way too difficult a question for me to ordinarily answer but, having recently been at an interview for Game, I was forced to pick one and the one I chose, out of all the others that I also would have liked to call my "favourite of all time", was Deus Ex.
A good enough choice I guess but, if given the chance, I would have named so many other great games too but, really, there is far too many to pick.

If i have to pick a singular game its without question: Shadow Warrior
Best game i ever played. Makes duke look stupid, more action, twice as funny, better level design.
that said i own over 11 versions of Duke Nukem 3D and his other games ^_^

Most epic soundtrack of all time.
As for my own fav... not sure. I've had many "favourite of all time" games throughout my gaming career. Among my favs are certainly: Operation Flashpoint, Dawn of War, Hitman 2-4, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, UT2004 and Stalker. Oh yeah, and both Dark Omen and Blood Omen. :B
