Your go

Sweet :) I'll be back after I finish dinner with some text.
And here I am.
Of course, I have to go with a similar oldie. First 17 or so seconds.

do-doo doo-dooo dooo-doo doo-do diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii dii-dii-dii-dooooo
Tried to pick a relatively easy one. hints granted if required.

My first thought was Bubble Bobble, but I couldn't match the tune at all with the number of dings and dongs you wrote, so I figured that couldn't be it. Methinks you were a little lazy in transcribing it :-p

It took me half a bloody hour and I only realised how stupid I was being as I spent 5 straight minutes rewinding the track to determine if that note should be classified as a ding or as a dong
EDIT: Yes, I really DO need to get laid, very badly...

I take issue with the accuracy of your transcription
Mine? Well I'm always happy to see another version if you want to make one
oh it's ON
ding ding dong, a-ding ding dong ah ding ding diddle dong
diddling ding ding ding ding da-ding, ding ding ding diddle and so forth anyway you see my main concern is that a system consisting exclusively of dings and dongs is insufficient for truly accurate reproductions of oh god I hope you disagree because this could become the absolute greatest argument in the history of the internet

Is there any game song out there that *is* entirley 'ding' and 'dong', with no changes to pitch or length of each note? And not necessarily an old chiptune as well.

Much better! That actually fits the tune :-D

Haha. Something from Silent Hill, maybe?
In fact there's a particular track from SH1 that's coming to mind. Though I can't remember its name and I don't have time to fetch the OST and find it... plus I'm about to go to bed anyway and there's a good chance that album still has the power to cause fear-insomnia (I haven't tested this in half a decade or so)
This just in, this thread is mad.
