Speaking of animated films, I've only watched two of Miyazaki's films: the Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro one, which I hated, and Princess Mononoke which was pretty damn good. So far it's even so I've been thinking of trying another one and could use a recommendation. I've been leaning towards maybe Spirited Away or Porco Rosso.
Well, there´s a ton I could recommend, but since likes vary from person to person....
Anyway, you should try ¨Majo no takkyūbin¨(¨Kiki´s Delivery Service¨), ¨Tenkū no Shiro Rapyuta¨(¨Laputa Castle in the Sky¨), ¨Hauru no Ugoku Shiro¨(¨Howl´s Moving castle¨), and one that I found kinda different but end up enjoying was ¨Sero Hiki no Goshu¨.

That one picture didn't get there by mistake, it's from the same series :)

/written hint: the name has the following structure: "X: Y, Z" where X is an acronym that's a woman's first name, Y is a woman's first name and Z is a roman numeral. So something like "MARY: Katherine, IV"

/written hint 2: I've posted pictures of the main characters already so it's written hints now. The series expands on a video game franchise created by one of those famous game maker types.

/written hint 3: The famous game maker guy who made the video game franchise is probably the second most famous one from Japan (dunno, maybe?).

Without images it could be either Sora no Otoshimono or Aa! Megamisama. But it sounds nearer to the former.

Sorry, they are both wrong. Probably my cryptic hint was abit misleading ^^;

Hopefully it will be easier now with the images I added.

Btw which image gave it away? I was considering taking an image of the train without Reki on it but kept her as it felt a bit wrong to not have any characters on the images, just background.

Superbook? From the name of the lead it seems to be that anime http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superbook (haven't seen it though)
