I think LSL: Magna cum laude is definitely the tasteless of the bunch. While G3 - FG is bad, at least it doesn't take a loved game series and do horrible things to it via forced backdoor entrance.

There is this really rubbish gamer called Sacrifice. Anyone who likes it has to be insane!

Also Jack Orlando is pretty bad

Actually, it's much easier to get into than the second one. Start with that one while you get #2 going.

Blood Omen 2 hands down.

After that it would be Outcast and Enclave. Outcast because of the oh-so horrible engine, game itself is awesome though, and Enclave because it was way too simple yet I finished it anyway, regretfully so. Both Riddick games were a huge disappointment for me but I suspect I probably played it in a moment I wasn't even eager to play and I'm kind of tired of action-adventure games. Still, even a few years ago I would have thought it was mediocre at best.

I don't own the Gothic games but I've played them. Not my kind of RPGs.

You should sort of play them in order, they are more or less the same thing and the story is pretty important in the game. The controls aren't that bad, I don't remember being so bothered by them. Out of all the rpgs I've played I remember gothic being by far the funnest series for me at least.

I remember Evola being pretty bad when I tried the retail version years ago, nice idea badly done

Worst overall: probably Omerta plus it's DLCs.

Worst high profile: Alan Wake - utterly broken controls that ruin the gameplay.

OK next time I recommend Outcast to anyone (which I do almost as much as recommending Torment) I'll have to remember to add the proviso 'Unless you have an irrational, psychotic hatred of voxels' :-P
