Now, honestly. Why does someone downrate people asking what GOG is? Because they are interested in GOG? Then why is that someone even on this site?

Because that was a pretty obvious troll attempt. It actually takes more effort to create an account, find the forums and post on them than simply put GOG in wikipedia. Or read, I dunno, the freaking front page.
