It's Independence Day here in the USA, and that means one thing, PYROTECHNICS!
Anyway, I was thinking about fireworks, which somehow got me thinking about old screensavers, and then I thought "If GoG released After Dark (for Windows), would anyone buy it?" I mean, it's one thing to be nostalgic for games, but screensavers? Believe it or not, memories of old screensavers for me invoke memories of other things, like when a neighbor or family friend had a newer or more advanced computer than I did, and everyone would come over to his or her house to check it out and say "Aww, rad!"
Screensaver memories, let's see....
I remember that guy who spend more time in the office with his Johnny Castaway screensaver then with actual work. Someday as he did work, he finally noticed that the island and the tree where almost always in the same place of the screen, and burned in - the look on his face was hilarious.
If someone makes rotating 360 degree pictures (like this ones) available as screensavers, I'd probably buy it - everything less, I wouldn't even get as free promotional gifts.
